Who is MrMel...

Name is Fredrik Melin

Born in 1972 on the island of Gotland, Sweden.
Raised on a farm, father wanted me to be the one to take over the farm, but I was more into computers.
At 1994 I moved to Stockholm and started to work on a Computer reseller called Dustin AB, 1995 the CEO of the company asked me if I could perhaps write a new system for them, an 11 year long journey started, it resulted in the product DACSA which is an Order/Invoice/Customer/Logistics/E-commerce application (www.dacsa.net) which is now a separate company. 2006 I stepped back from active developement & focused on strategy.

I started to fly RC Helicopters 2004, first it was hovering in the basement all winter, I spent a fortune on T-rex 450's (v1, v2, HDX, HDE ive had them all)
I live on an island just outside Stockholm called Lidingö with my wife Kajsa and our kids Alexandra (2004) and William (2007).

Im the kind of guy that invent or modify stuff I dont like, I cannot let go of an problem unless its solved or I fully understand why it cant be solved, period.
That character "flaw" is something that you probably have seen online when Im in a fierce discussion, unless you prove me wrong, I wont let it go. Then again, If I am wrong, I am the type of guy that gladly stand up and say "I was wrong, sorry".

I like to test new stuff, all the time, however, sometimes I need to pause with the new stuff and just go fly the stuff I have.
